Guests also have access to two seasonal tennis courts and other recreational facilities at Huntley Lodge, just across the village plaza. In the winter, Big Sky’s ski slopes begin right outside the hotel and offer more than 150 named runs on 3,600 acres. When the snow melts, the trails offer excellent hiking and mountain biking.

A wealth of other outdoor activities are available throughout the Big Sky and Yellowstone area, including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and superlative trout-fishing on the Gallatin River. Golfers will appreciate the Big Sky Golf Course, eight miles from the hotel, which is noted for classic links-style play and the long drives that come with higher altitude (6,500 feet) and thinner air.
